Marketing Coordinator

Position: Marketing Coordinator Location: Richmond Hill Responsibilities •Support in the creation and ongoing execution of marketing activities (trade shows/events, webinars, other lead generation initiatives) •Communicate with clients and vendors on a regular basis to ensure up-to-date flow of content and marketing activities •Learn and keep up with evolving industry trends and technology (related to both digital marketing and ecommerce/retail) for own success, as well as internal sharing/collaboration •Takes ownership of company web presence with email marketing, social media, blogging and press release distribution, collateral creation •Continuously evaluate internal and external marketing opportunities and identify means of implementation and execution; create project briefs and timelines •Coordinate company participation in industry-related events/conferences to increase exposure •Assist in maintaining a structured marketing plan and annual budget outlining direction, goals, and responsibilities of the Company, as well as formulate propositions as to how to arrive at said goals and how to optimize efforts for continued success •Administration over annual budget, full record off all marketing expenditures and coordinating sign offs •Build and maintain prospect and client contact lists and databases •Perform any administrative duties that the Sr. Marketing Manager or President requests •Professional communications both written and verbally Qualification and Skills •Extremely detail oriented with a positive, “never-say-never” attitude •Ability to leverage skills and knowledge of surrounding team and an ability to build relationships internally •Desire to succeed and grow (professionally and personally) to support Company objectives and individual goals •Ability to focus on multiple key objectives in a rapidly evolving and challenging environment •Analytical, organized and able to make objective and critical evaluations leading to strong resolutions and meaningful actions •Ability to work independently and creatively, while maintaining tight deadlines and holding accountability for projects and tasks •Ability to understand scope of projects while setting appropriate goals and completion dates and the sense to communicate status updates, challenges and lessons learned •Bachelor’s Degree; 2-4 years job-related (marketing and/or project coordination) experience •Knowledge of, and experience with, a variety of marketing mediums, including (but not limited to) email, web, events, social, and print •Experience working with contact management tools such as Salesforce, Constant Contact, various Marketing Automation Solutions, etc. •Strong knowledge of Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign •An understanding of basic HTML and an ability update web content within structured templates •Competent with SEO and SEM principles, in addition to Google Analytics •Experience working with third-party vendors, publishers and agencies is ideal but not necessary •Understanding and/or interest in retail industry is helpful but not mandatory Key Performance Indicators •Evaluation from superiors and peers, plus feedback from partners and clients •Demonstrate a willingness to go above and beyond for the good of the company and career growth •Complete deliverables on-time •Communicate ahead of time in the event of delays to deliverables •Communicate with internal and external stakeholders in order to complete tasks and projects •Punctuality and attitude
